Your card processing terminal supports multiple network connection options including Wi‑Fi, SIM (cellular), and Ethernet so you can process payments reliably in different environments. You can switch between options as your needs change, and you can keep a backup terminal ready to move long lines during peak times.

Connection Options

• Wi-Fi
  • Wi‑Fi is cost‑effective and stable while keeping your terminal wireless. If your store has strong Wi‑Fi coverage, this is usually the best everyday option.
  • Everyday sales on a wireless terminal within your store’s coverage.
• Ethernet
  • Using an Ethernet cradle or adapter provides a very stable, fast connection. If you prioritize maximum reliability at a fixed counter, Ethernet is ideal. This option tethers the terminal to the dock or cable.
  • Highest reliability and speed at a fixed checkout location.
• SIM (Cellular)
  • Insert a SIM card into the back of the device to use cellular data. This is useful for mobile sales, outdoor events, or as a backup when Wi‑Fi is unavailable.
  • On‑the‑go transactions, remote events, or as a failover when other networks are down.

Setup

Connect to Wi-Fi

1. On the terminal, open Settings > Network.
2. Click Wi‑Fi, choose your network from the drop‑list, then enter the password.
3. Click Connect. If you see a toggle set to ON, you’re online.
4. Run a small test transaction, or open Health to confirm connectivity.

Ethernet

1. Seat the terminal in the Ethernet‑enabled cradle or connect the Ethernet adapter.
2. Plug an Ethernet cable from your router/switch into the cradle/adapter.
3. Open Settings > Network > Ethernet and ensure status shows Connected. From this area, you can toggle it ON if it is not yet active.
4. Process a quick test to verify speed and stability.

SIM (Cellular)

1. Power down the terminal.
2. Insert an activated SIM into the slot on the back of the device.
3. Power on, then open Settings > Network > Cellular.
4. Confirm you see signal strength and status Connected. Test a transaction.
