How to Export a File Containing Your Inventory Information

Learn how to download a CSV (Comma Separated Value) spreadsheet file of your items. Take a look!

To access your items and print labels in the Admin app, click Items in the Items menu. Admin privileges are required to complete the steps in this article.

 

Exporting Inventory to CSV

  1. If you're exporting all of your inventory, skip to step 3, below. If you're not needing all of your inventory exported, in the Search box on the Items window, enter text and the table will filter to match. You can check the Exact Search box to limit the search to exactly what you enter, if needed. You can click the Advanced Search button to search by any information you might have.
  2. Click the check box in the first column for each item you want to include in the CSV file. You can also click the checkbox in the column header to select every row shown on the current page.
  3. Click the Export CSV button. A CSV file will be saved to your computer with this name format: items-MONTH_DAY_YEARHOUR_MINUTE_SECOND. You can open the file in any spreadsheet program.

A: No, there is no way to re-upload an inventory file.
