How to Print a Logo on the Receipt

Learn how to add your logo to the top of your printed customer receipts. Placing a logo at the top of your receipts adds a level of professionalism to your business and helps you stand out.

To add a logo to your receipts, click POS Settings in the Settings menu of your Admin system. Admin privileges are required to complete the steps in this article.

  

Adding a Logo to Your Customer Receipts

Before you can add a logo, make sure you have one saved on your computer. Receipt logos should meet the following requirements:

  • Color: monochromatic (black and white)
  • Dimensions: no larger than 256 pixels wide by 128 pixels high
  • Format: 1-bit .png

 

You can follow the steps below to change your logo to a different image file if you already have one saved in the Bottle POS Admin or to add a new one.

  1. In your Admin software, go to Settings > POS Settings. The POS Settings page will open.
  2. Scroll to and check the box for Print Receipt Logo in the Receipt area.
  3. Click the Choose File button in the Receipt Printer Logo box. You will be able to search your device for the logo file you want.

  4. In the browser's Open window, navigate to the location on your computer where you saved your logo. Select it and click the Open button.

  5. Click Save at the bottom of the window. This new image will be applied to the top of your printed customer receipts. If you later decide you do not want a logo at the top of your receipts, click the Trashcan Icon to delete it.

Q: After uploading my receipt logo, my receipt printer won't print receipts.

A: When the uploaded logo does not meet the requirements (monochromatic 1-bit PNG no larger than 256x128px), it can cause your printer to not print receipts at all. You can fix this by changing the logo or clearing the Print Receipt Logo check box to disable the logo.
