How to Add Notes to a Transaction

You can easily add notes about whatever you need to your transactions. Take a look!

You can get to this part of the system by logging into your Bottle POS app and going to the Sales tab.

 

Adding Notes to a Transaction in the Bottle POS

  1. Search for the transaction you want by Reference ID (you can use the last few digits after the final hyphen), click the Go button to search. Or you can use the Search field to search by any text or number in the Sales data table.
  2. Click the Eye Icon on the far right for your transaction, as shown above. The Transaction Details window will open.

  1. In the Notes area in the upper left, enter your note text, then click the Save button. Your note will be visible every time you open the Transaction Details window and in your Notes report in the Admin.

 

Adding Notes to a Transaction in the Admin

You can find transactions in the Admin by clicking on POS Sales on the left.

When the POS Sales manager page loads, you'll see the most recent transactions from your Bottle POS. Follow these steps to add notes to a transaction:

  1. Search for the transaction you want to view using either the Ref Search if you have the Ref ID, keyword search in the Search field, or you can use the Advanced Search to find what you want using any information you might have.

  1. Click the Pencil icon on the far right for the transaction you want, as shown here. The Transaction Details window will open.

  1. Enter any information you want to save for this transaction in the Notes field. It will be visible for you in the Transaction Details window any time you view the transaction and in your Notes report in the Admin.
  2. Click the Save button and then confirm that you want to save the notes to the transaction.
