The Bottle POS Register is flexible, fast, and easy to use! Look below to see how you can work in your Register.

You can get to this part of the system by logging into your Register App. The Register page will load for you.

 

The Bottle POS Register

This is an overview of the different parts of the Register app, and you'll find links to articles with more details on each area below. We'll start with the Register tab itself. There are five major sections of the Register page:

  1. Stock Searches / Shortcuts - You can look up items by their Stock Code, search for them using keywords in the Stock Searches area, or use the single-click Shortcut keys to add items to a transaction.
  2. Transaction Items - You can work with the details of the items you add to transactions here. You can also create items from here using the Add Item button, if that is active for you in your Admin settings.
  3. Transaction Details - You can add the customer, notes, and any discounts needed here. You can also set the receipt to be emailed and see the transaction totals.
  4. Checkout and Hotkeys - You can complete the transaction here using the green Checkout button or use any of the Hotkeys for unique functions. There are Hotkeys at the top as well that let you access Tasklists, Print Labels, expand to Fullscreen, view the Customer Screen, access your Time Clock, open the Back Office Admin app, and the Arrow icon in the upper right lets you toggle between different layouts for your Register. The upper Hotkeys are available on every tab in the Register App.
  5. Register Footer - This area shows useful information such as your Customer Number (this might be needed for support calls), the Support phone number, your Company, the Device you're using, your Inventory Location, your Username, and the system Status (Online or Offline).

View Transactions in the Sales Tab

You can see recent transactions under your Sales tab. You can look them up using the Ref ID, or use the Search to find the one you want by Customer Name, Mobile, or the Total. You can click the Eye icon on the right to open the full transaction details.

Work with Orders from Your Online Store in the WebOrders Tab

As orders come in for your online store, they will show up in the WebOrders tab. The section below details how you can work with your online orders.

You can look up Weborders using their 4-digit Ref ID. You can also Search by any of the numbers for the order (GID, Mobile, Total, etc.) or by keyword text such as Customer Name or Address. You are also able to filter the list by any of the Status types (All (default), Pending, Accepted, Complete, Void, Refunded, Declined, Canceled, or No Sale). When you have found the Weborder you want you can click the Eye icon on the far right to work with it (there are full details about Weborder fulfillment in the article linked below).

View Important Register Data in the Reports Tab

There are three main sections to your Reports page displaying data for the current day:

  1. Reports - When the Reports tab loads you'll see the Takings Count report first, showing revenues by tender type. The What's Selling report will list Items you've sold, with the largest quantities sold at the top. The Seller Report splits out your day's sales by User. The Register Report has amounts for a wide variety of important areas for your sales. Finally your Day Report (shown below) has statistics and amounts for everything that happened in the Register for the whole store for the day.
  2. Today's Takings - Details at a glance for the number of Sales and total Dollars Received, the number of Refunds and Voids and the dollar amount totals for each, and the remaining Takings total.
  3. Cash Reconciliation - This area is a tool for your sales clerks to enter cash and coin quantities in their closing drawer when it's time to close the Register.

Configure Your Register and Receipts in the Settings Tab

There are two sub-tabs in your Settings tab: General settings will let you configure some important options for your Register and Printing will let you set up your receipt printing for the Bottle POS.
